“Can I record myself on Zoom? Are there any prerequisites for recording on Zoom to create a video of myself?”
You can record yourself on Zoom by starting a meeting and not inviting others. Zoom’s Record feature is available for the meeting host by default. Therefore, if you start the meeting, you can capture yourself and/or your screen on Zoom with ease. However, since Zoom will capture all attendees, it’s advisable to not invite others so that you can capture yourself only.
To record yourself on Zoom:
- Open the Zoom app and click New Meeting.
- Make sure you have enabled video.
- Click the More option next to Stop Video and change the background, video filter, or avatar if you need to.
- Click More > Record on This Computer to start recording yourself.
If you need to record your screen, share your screen first and then click the record button. When you want to capture yourself presenting a PowerPoint on Zoom, you can still follow this tip to get it done.
